Merry Christmas!

Photo op with Aunt Sue!

Lounging in my new Ladybug chair! Thanks Aunt Boo!

Like my dress!

I'm a flasher!

Nana with her two grand-daughters!

Ben acting silly! I think he was going a little crazy at this point!

Great-Grandma Gracie and Emma!

She cried!

Grandma opening her present from Emma.

Emma's cousin Anahi! She loves sticking out her tongue!

Sleigh bells, are you listening!

Cuddling with Nana; showing off her new ducky slippers!

Puma dress from Tanti! She paraded it around for everyone to see!

Old fashioned phone!

What a great family photo!

Falling asleep in Gramps' lap!

Emma loved chasing the kitty and trying to kiss him! Two of her new words are "Kitty" and "Doggy".

A photo op. with Gramps and Mimi!

Rudolph has a BIG nose like Ben!

This Christmas we visited 5 houses in 3 days. It was very busy! By the end of it, we were feeling rather tired and overwhelmed, well except for Emma. She loved seeing everyone and opening her presents. She especially loved parading her new clothes around. Last year she was only 4 months old, so she just stared as we opened her gifts. This year she was excited to rip open her presents.

Hanging out with Tia Yesmi!

I'm a silly girl and I love it! I definitely get the tongue sticking out from my mother!

Emma loves to eat her clothes!

Yesmi and Emma hung out, while mommy and daddy went on a date. Yesmi was a doll for watching her, and Emma did great. We expect her to start speaking Spanish any day now, or at least call daddy "Keebler".

Wedding in Oklahoma!

Mr & Mrs. Timothy Tanner

The sweetest camper fan EVER!

Andy discretely inserting himself in a picture!

The reunion between Brophy and Ben was priceless. We were unable to capture it on camera, but here is one of the chill moments before the wedding frenzy began!

Ben's good friend Tim was getting married in Oklahoma. God totally provided a way for both Ben and I to attend. Emma stayed with Ben's parents; she had a fever when we left, so it wasn't the most relaxing trip. Even though things were crazy with her, we were still able to enjoy reuniting with old friends and getting to know new ones. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful! They couldn't have asked for a better day.

CUBS mania (last game of playoffs)

Our friends who came to support us in our loss!
I think Emma was the only one smiling at this point in the game!

Emma watching the game with Daddy!

We root for the CUBS through thick and thin! (it got pretty thick!)

Even though the post season came to an ubrupt hault, we were able to enjoy the final game with friends. Ben is still a little bitter about the way it ended, but is looking forward to this season and what the CUBS will bring to the field.

No stop to Wrigley Field would be complete without a picture in front of the famous marquee.
Sippin' a soda at Wrigley!

Our classic arm length shot!

After a long season of ups and downs, The Cubs were poised for the playoffs. On a beautiful September afternoon in Chicago we were fortunate enough to witness the last regular season home game. Having never stepped foot in the Friendly Confines, Jess was beginning to understand the excitement, nostalgia, and all out beauty that is Wrigley Field. The atmosphere was absolutely electric with Cubs fans setting a season high for any Chicago team in attendance with over 3.25 million at home. The Cubbies went on to pound the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-0. It was a special day out for us, especially considering how seldom we get to go on dates, and will rank up there in memorable moments for years to come.

BATH TIME!

It looked so fun, Daddy couldn't help himself. Emma didn't seem to mind at all!
Still waiting!

Waiting patiently for the water to fill up!

Pumpkin Day 2007

The last time Ben and I went to the pumpkin farm, we didn't have Emma. She makes a great addition to our family!
Ben can barely reach to fit his head into the cut out...and Emma's in the 90th percentile for height. Don't know where she gets that!

A small pumpkin for our pumpkin!

Love this one!

What's up Rabbit?!

Charlie Brown cutouts...you gotta love them!

Daddy and Emma at Geolbert's Pumpkin Farm. Emma was so fascinated with the pumpkins, she wouldn't look at the camera. (You'll notice in most of the pictures)
